I, Me and Myself!

Students of Grade 1 are involved in the inquiry about themselves. they are exploring the idea of - What it means to be 'ME'. they are also inquiring into the similarities and differences between themselves and others.

In the Art room students started with something which they were very familiar with - their faces. Students were first given a pieces of paper and  to draw their faces. 

Here are some of the works they did!

Students were then asked observe themselves in the mirror and then create their self portraits. they were asked to look at the shape of their face, colour of their skin, hair, eyes etc while observing and drawing.

Students then moved to inquirng into their own body. .
