Warli Art - The Dancing figures!



Warli paintings is an ancient folk art done by the tribal women of  Maharashtra, India. Warli people express themselves through paintings which they make on the walls of their houses. These paintings were generally done on special occasions such as marriage, festivals etc.

Art Junkees of Grade 2 decided to inquire about 'Warli Art'. We looked at a lot of Visuals of Warli Art and   observed characteristics of the Art form



FINDING OUT
Junkees brainstormed and researched about Folk Art and recorded their finding in their Art journals!






They then shared their finding about Warli Art in the class.
